About

Christopher J. Neiles is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer from London, Ontario. For over two decades, he's been writing, recording, and performing — moving between guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals with the restless energy of someone who can't sit still musically.

The journey started early — basement bands, borrowed gear, and the feeling that making noise was the only thing that made sense. From Shoegazer's sidewalk sets on Front Street in Strathroy to the indie rock of The Spyes, from the garage energy of The Tough Brets to the long creative run of Partners In Health, each project left its mark.

Partners In Health became the main vehicle for over a decade — recording at Sugar Shack Studios with Simon Larochette, working with collaborators like Cole Machon at 331arts, and building a catalog that ranged from lo-fi punk to carefully layered indie rock. The band is currently on hiatus, but the songs remain.

Since going solo as CJN, the music has turned more introspective. Albums like Thames River Anthology, Let's Dive Right In, and the latest full-length Anemoia (2025) are the work of one person playing everything — written, recorded, mixed, and released independently. The name comes from the Thames River that runs through London, and the DIY spirit that's been there since day one.

Based in London, Ontario. Still making noise.
